7 WealthBuilder Tips to Protect You and Your Money

7 WealthBuilder Tips to Protect You and Your Money -
*      Don’t ever be afraid to ask questions to your financial advisor; get your questions answered and most importantly, begin educating yourself with financial education.

*      If you feel uncomfortable, pressured or intimidated by an adviser, don’t  submit to feeling bad; go by your gut feeling.

*      Get second opinions; not everyone is an expert in everything.

*      Be sure to get documentation and not rely on a verbal contract…the good old days have been replaced with a new culture.  Get what you need documented!

*       Always read documents; do not sign without understanding what you have read.  If you don’t understand something, it would be better to feel safe by checking with a lawyer beforehand, not after wards. I repeat, Do NOT Sign your name to something if you find yourself hesitating.

*      Check out your investment adviser or broker salesperson before you give them your money. Due diligence on your part is required; it is ultimately your responsibility for your decisions.

*      Don’t allow yourself to feel rushed with any important decisions.  Sleep on your decision; don’t feel loss…waiting could be your gain, and if anything, your peace of mind.
